Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security automation solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments. You’ll work with SOC, IR, threat intel, and engineering teams to automate workflows and integrate a wide range of security technologies.

You’ll develop playbooks for incident triage and remediation, strengthen detection capabilities, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with EY’s security engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in security automation or SOAR engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SOAR platforms listed above.
• Strong development and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services and integrations.
• Knowledge of security operations processes and cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications or ability to obtain after employment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated security workflows.
• Integrate security tools, data sources, and processes across SOC, IR, threat intel, and engineering.
• Develop playbooks for triage, enrichment, containment, remediation, and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation standards.
