Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security automation solutions that accelerate incident response across client environments. You will collaborate with SOC, IR, Threat Intel, and Engineering teams to automate workflows, integrate a broad set of security tools, and scale automation across cloud and on‑prem deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field with 2–4 years in security automation or SOAR.
Hands-on experience implementing, administering, or developing enterprise SOAR platforms.
Strong software development and scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript).
Experience building REST APIs, web services, SDKs, and integrations.
Knowledge of security operations workflows and incident response.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated security workflows to enhance SOC efficiency.
Integrate security tools, data sources, and processes across cybersecurity ecosystem.
Create playbooks for triage, enrichment, containment, remediation, and reporting.
Develop custom integrations and connectors for cloud and on‑prem environments.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Stay current on evolving SOAR solutions and security automation trends.
