Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a researcher to perform large-scale analysis of SNSPD data and film metrology, guiding design experiments to advance superconducting photonic quantum computers. You will work across materials science, fabrication, testing and layout to deploy SNSPDs at scale for fault-tolerant quantum devices.

The role emphasizes deep SNSPD physics, microscopic superconductivity models, and collaboration with multiple teams to enable high-temperature, scalable performance.

Qualifications

• >5 years experience in the design and development of SNSPDs or adjacent areas involving microscopic theory of superconductivity or condensed matter physics or superconducting device design.
• PhD in a technical discipline is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• The role requires large-scale analysis of SNSPD data, based on deep understanding of SNSPD physics and microscopic theories of superconductivity, to inform device and material design tape-outs for scalable, high-performance, high-temperature operation.
