Job summary

PineQ Lab Technology is seeking a Snowflake and Cloud data engineer to join our team in the United States. You will design, administer, and optimize Snowflake environments across cloud platforms, with emphasis on performance, security, and FinOps.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform-based provisioning, CI/CD automation, and strong SQL plus Python or Bash scripting. Healthcare or financial services exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Snowflake experience including administration, architecture, security, workload management, performance and cost optimization.
• Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP; IAM, networking, private connectivity, security and cloud storage.
• Advanced Terraform with Snowflake provisioning and lifecycle automation.
• CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, Harness or equivalent.
• Security & Governance: RBAC, SSO, encryption, masking policies, secrets management and audit controls.
• Performance & FinOps: Query optimization, warehouse sizing/scaling, resource utilization, credit and storage cost optimization.
• Operations: Monitoring, alerting, incident response, backup/recovery and disaster recovery.
• Programming: Strong SQL plus Python and/or Bash scripting.
