Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a Senior Snowflake Administrator to manage and optimize its Snowflake data platform, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable operations. You will oversee access, performance, automation, and resource management while partnering with tech and data teams to implement best practices.

You’ll strengthen the platform, enable new capabilities, and contribute to disaster recovery and security initiatives, collaborating across IT, security, and analytics functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years administering the Snowflake data platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps/automation tools like Terraform, PowerShell, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, user access, roles, privileges, and security configurations.
• Optimize platform performance, query execution, resource allocation, capacity, and costs.
• Automate routine platform activities including schema creation and access provisioning.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, and analysts to integrate Snowflake with data systems.
• Enforce security, encryption, compliance, and data protection requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve Snowflake infrastructure and data pipeline issues.
• Maintain documentation and provide training on Snowflake best practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning and feature enablement with vendors and teams.
