Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks a senior data engineer to own and evolve our Snowflake-based data platform. You will design scalable architectures, enforce governance and security policies, build robust data pipelines, and partner with analytics, product, and engineering teams to drive data-driven decisions across the enterprise.

You’ll lead performance tuning and troubleshooting for large-scale workloads, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to release management, monitoring, and data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in data engineering or 8+ with GED.
• Strong Snowflake data platform knowledge and RBAC/ABAC.
• Experience designing scalable data architectures and data governance.
• Experience with cloud data pipelines and CI/CD practices.
