Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Snowflake Administrator to manage and optimize its Snowflake data platform for secure, scalable data operations. You will oversee access, performance, automation, security, and resource management while partnering with technology and data teams.

You will strengthen the platform, introduce new capabilities, and help shape best practices across the organization, collaborating with engineers, architects, and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience administering and managing the Snowflake data platform.
• 0+ years of experience with DevOps or automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, user access, roles, privileges, and security configurations.
• Optimize platform performance, query execution, resource allocation, capacity, and costs.
• Automate routine platform activities, including schema creation, access provisioning, and account-level object management.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, and analysts to integrate Snowflake with data systems and applications.
• Enforce security, encryption, compliance, and data protection requirements across the Snowflake environment.
• Diagnose and resolve Snowflake infrastructure, data pipeline, and integration issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation and provide training and support on Snowflake best practices and new features.
• Support disaster recovery planning and new feature enablement in partnership with vendors, Information Technology, and Security teams.
