Associated Bank is seeking a Snowflake Administrator Senior to optimize our Snowflake data platform and support secure, scalable data operations. You will manage access, security, performance, automation, and cost controls while partnering with data engineers and analysts to deliver reliable data services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years IT experience with 3+ years administering Snowflake, plus knowledge of cloud platforms and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience and 3+ years administering Snowflake.
• Experience with DevOps/automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, Python).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, access, roles, and security configurations.
• Optimize performance, queries, resource allocation, and costs.
• Automate schema creation, provisioning, and object management.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, and analysts for integration.
• Enforce security, encryption, and data protection requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve Snowflake infra, data pipelines, and integration issues.
• Maintain documentation and train on Snowflake best practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning and feature enablement with vendors.
