Associated Bank in the United States is seeking a Senior Snowflake Administrator to manage and optimize the Snowflake data platform, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data operations.

You will oversee access control, performance tuning, automation, security, and resource management while partnering with data engineers, architects, and analysts to implement best practices and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience administering and managing the Snowflake data platform.
• 0+ years of experience with DevOps or automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, user access, roles, privileges, and security configurations.
• Optimize platform performance, query execution, resource allocation, capacity, and costs.
• Automate routine platform activities, including schema creation and access provisioning.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, and analysts to integrate Snowflake with data systems.
• Enforce security, encryption, compliance, and data protection requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve Snowflake infrastructure and data pipeline issues.
• Maintain documentation and provide training on Snowflake best practices and new features.
• Support disaster recovery planning and vendor coordination.
