You will oversee Snowflake administration, collaborate with data analysts and engineers, mentor junior DBAs, and shape data management policies while keeping pace with Snowflake updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a DBA with at least 2 years focused on Snowflake.
• 2+ years in a software development role.
• Experience leading teams or mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Snowflake data warehouse administration for performance, security, and reliability.
• Design and monitor data policies to ensure accessibility and security.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to implement data requirements.
• Perform regular Snowflake usage analysis and tuning for cost efficiency.
• Lead data migration projects including schema and ETL processes.
• Develop documentation for architectures, configurations, and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DBAs.
