Job summary

APPLY is seeking a senior data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for analytical and operational workloads. You will develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, collaborate with backend engineers to integrate data into cloud-native applications, and manage data warehouses with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.

You will work with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and other modern tooling while upholding data governance and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, building cloud data platforms.
• Strong Snowflake skills including performance tuning and security.
• Advanced SQL for analytics and data transformation.
• Python for data processing, automation, and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for analytics and operations.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across sources.
• Integrate data pipelines into cloud-native apps with backend/platform teams.
• Manage cloud data warehouses (BigQuery focus in description; adapt as needed) and optimize performance and cost.
• Implement data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
