Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to design scalable Snowflake data platform architectures in Whippany, NJ. You will define governance standards, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, and GCP, while leading teams to deliver data-driven business solutions.

You will implement security controls, establish data quality and lineage, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cost, performance and governance across the enterprise data platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in data warehousing, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
• 5+ years hands-on Snowflake architecture, administration and implementation.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and large-scale data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platform architectures.
• Define data warehousing standards, governance and best practices.
• Architect ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure and GCP, data lakes and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor teams for business-led data solutions.
• Ensure security controls including RBAC and data masking are in place.
