Job summary

Data Ideology in the United States is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Architect to design and implement modern cloud data platforms. You will lead architecture, ELT/ETL pipelines, and semantic models that support analytics, BI, and data science across the organization.

This role emphasizes security, governance, performance optimization, and cost management, with collaboration across business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable Snowflake solutions and successful migrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or modeling.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience designing enterprise platforms.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, ELT/ETL, performance, security, governance, and cost management.
• Experience leading large-scale migrations to Snowflake with data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction of enterprise Snowflake data platforms.
• Design Snowflake data models and ELT/ETL pipelines for analytics, BI, and data science.
• Modernize data warehouses and migrate to Snowflake with mapping, testing, and cutover.
• Establish Snowflake security, governance, and cost management practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Snowflake with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
