Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Ranch is seeking Snow Cat Operators to join our grooming team for nightly snow surface maintenance and safe operation of grooming equipment. Operators will follow nightly plans, communicate with departments, and help maintain the highest quality ski and snowboard surfaces for members and guests.

Positions include Operator I with 0-3 years experience, Operator II with 4+ years, and Operator III with 5+ years, with duties expanding accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience in snowmaking or grooming operations and/or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Strong focus on safety and following grooming plans and safety guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with departments and follow nightly plans for changing weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform Snow Cat Operator I duties and assist with grooming tasks.
• Maintain daily shift communication with departments and attend meetings as required.
• Doze, pack, and grade trails, base areas, and lift ramps according to grooming plan.
• Operate snow cat under supervision and ensure vehicle is inspected before/after shifts.
• Report safety issues and maintain clean, organized equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and work in a team environment.
