Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior SMT Solderer to perform precision hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components on PCB assemblies. The role involves rework, inspection, and documentation to IPC standards, with a focus on high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

The candidate must have at least 2+ years in electronics assembly, a J-STD-001 Class III certification, and be comfortable working under a microscope. ESD, safety, and quality procedures are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electronics assembly, PCB or SMT production
• Must have J-STD-001 Class III solder certification
• Able to solder SMT and through-hole components
• Able to read technical drawings and BOMs
• Experience under a microscope for extended periods
• Knowledge of ESD handling and PCB manufacturing best practices

Responsibilities

• Hand solder SMT and through-hole components on PCB assemblies
• Install, remove, and replace electronic components
• Perform rework and repair using soldering irons and hot air tools
• Read drawings, BOMs, schematics and engineering changes
• Inspect solder joints for IPC and customer specifications
• Document defects and non-conformances
• Assist troubleshooting and defect correction
• Maintain production records and documentation
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures
• Support meeting delivery schedules and production goals
