Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Network Engineer (LAN/WAN) to lead enterprise network architecture for the GMOS program supporting the Department of State.

You will guide a high-performing team to modernize and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices. The role requires strong TCP/IP knowledge, routing, switching, and WAN experience in large federal environments, with a Secret clearance and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 13 years in network engineering or IT operations
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience leading enterprise LAN/WAN in federal environments
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN design, and WAN technologies
• Proficiency with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership for network engineering services, optimizing LAN networks across the global enterprise
• Coordinate with remote CA sites and DT to establish WAN connectivity across 350+ facilities
• Document and maintain enterprise LAN/VLAN diagrams, topology, and rack/wiring standards
• Lead WAN link upgrades connecting CONUS/OCONUS facilities for better bandwidth and reliability
• Configure and maintain TCP/IP, network protocols, and standards per DoS requirements
• Monitor WAN link usage and plan proactive upgrades using SD-WAN and automation
• Develop roadmaps for network modernization and cloud integrations
• Direct major assignments, budgeting, staffing, and methodology decisions
