Job summary

CACI International is seeking a SME Network Engineer (LAN/WAN) to lead network engineering for the GMOS contract in support of the Department of State. You will guide a high-performing team, design WAN/LAN solutions, and drive modernization using SD-WAN, automation, and DevSecOps practices.

This role requires a Secret clearance, 13+ years in related fields, and the ability to coordinate with remote sites across 350+ facilities, ensuring reliable communications, security, and scalable network

Bachelor’s degree plus 13 years in network engineering or related fields.
Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Provide technical and management leadership for LAN/WAN network services.
Coordinate with remote sites to establish WAN connectivity across 350+ facilities.
Document and maintain enterprise LAN/VLAN diagrams, topology and rack diagrams.
Lead WAN upgrades and modernize connectivity standards.
Set TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting standards per DoS requirements.
Monitor WAN usage and plan bandwidth upgrades with SD-WAN and AI optimization.
Develop roadmaps for network upgrades and cloud integration.
Lead major assignments with budgeting, methodology, and staffing responsibility.
