Job summary

NT Concepts is seeking a Senior/SME Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of mission-critical systems using Java or Python. You will guide design, implement robust data pipelines, and work within secure IC cloud environments, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of software engineering or 10+ for SME, with a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and a BS in CS or engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of software engineering experience (10+ for SME).
• Deep production experience in Java (11/17+) with Spring; or Python (3.x) with FastAPI/Flask and async programming.
• Proven ability to design scalable microservices, enterprise APIs, and distributed data processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement backend applications, microservices, and data pipelines using Java or Python.
• Provide technical leadership, SME guidance, and mentorship across the program.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise RESTful APIs and secure interfaces.
• Architect data storage, ingestion, and transformation pipelines with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Drive cloud-native designs and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes in secure IC cloud environments.
• Ensure security, high availability, and low latency; collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into roadmaps.
