Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to conduct and monitor sleep studies, set up equipment and patients, and train staff. This is a limited appointment position with a 6:30pm–7am night schedule.

The role requires CPR BLS, California licensure as a Sleep Technologist (RST/RPSGT/CPFT/RPFT/CRT/RRT), at least one year of night experience in a sleep lab, and pediatric experience. Join UCSF Health to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CPR BLS certification.
• Sleep technologist licenses: RST, RPSGT, CPFT, RPFT, CRT or RRT.
• California Sleep Technologist license.
• At least 1 year of night shift experience in a sleep lab.
• Experience working with pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor sleep studies.
• Set up equipment and patients.
• Train Polysomnographic Technologists.
• Troubleshoot artifacts and score tests.
• Work independently.
