UCSF Health in Oakland is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a limited appointment, night shift from 6:30pm to 7am. The role involves conducting and monitoring sleep studies, setting up equipment and patients, and training other Polysomnographic Technologists to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Candidates must hold CPR BLS, a California Sleep Technologist license, and one of the following credentials: RST, RPSGT, CPFT, RPFT, CRT, or RRT, plus at least one year of night‑shift

Qualifications

• Current CPR BLS certification is required.
• Licenses: RST, RPSGT, CPFT, RPFT, CRT or RRT (one of)
• California Sleep Technologist license required
• At least 1 year of night shift experience in a sleep lab
• Experience working with pediatric population

Responsabilités

• Conduct and monitor sleep studies.
• Set up equipment and patient preparation.
• Troubleshoot artifacts and score tests.
• Train Polysomnographic Technologists and ensure independent work capability
