Job summary

The Pivot Group Network, a West Michigan manufacturing-focused recruiting group, is seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt for opportunities in the Wyoming, MI area. You will lead complex improvement initiatives and drive cost savings and quality enhancements for partner manufacturers.

Ideal candidates have CSSBB certification, 5+ years of manufacturing Six Sigma experience, and a track record mentoring Green Belts. Strong analytics with Minitab/JMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• CSSBB certification with demonstrated project leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of experience applying Six Sigma in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to mentor cross-functional teams on complex improvement projects.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software.
• Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, and control plan development.
• Track record of delivering significant cost savings or quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma projects to achieve significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify root causes of manufacturing defects and process variations.
• Apply advanced statistical analysis and data visualization to drive data-driven decision making.
• Develop and deliver Six Sigma training programs to build organizational capability.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic improvement opportunities aligned with business goals.
