Job summary

Granite Construction Company in the United States is seeking a seasoned construction supervisor to oversee site activity and coordinate field staff, subcontractors, and materials to meet design, budget, and schedule.

You will implement safety, quality, and environmental policies, manage on-site teams, and ensure productive use of equipment while maintaining workforce. Minimum 8+ years in construction management required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising large construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental policies.
• Ability to manage multiple teams across a project.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions; input scheduling, engineering, and material control.
• Supervise and direct field supervisors, superintendents and contractors for productivity and contractual performance.
• Interface with on-site teams and subcontractors to resolve problems and ensure quality, safety and schedules.
• Assist management in developing Work Plans, procedures, and standards to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety, quality and environmental initiatives.
• Recruit and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
