Job summary

Williams Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on custom residential projects in Olympia, WA. The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality and safety to deliver high-end homes.

You will manage multiple trades, read plans, oversee materials, and communicate progress with the project team, clients, and leadership to keep projects moving smoothly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Strong residential construction experience.
• Read and interpret architectural plans and specs.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and details.
• Manage subcontractors, field crews, schedules, and priorities.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and safety-minded.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction sequencing aligned with the project schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors' arrivals, site access, and work readiness.
• Inspect work for quality and ensure adherence to plans.
• Oversee material deliveries and staging on site.
• Provide regular field updates to project team and leadership.
• Maintain client-facing professionalism on site.
