We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Construction Superintendent to lead the construction of luxury custom homes in the Chelan area. This role is best suited for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in high‑end residential construction, a commitment to craftsmanship, and the ability to manage complex projects from ground break through completion. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring each home is built to the highest standards of quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight

• Manage all phases of custom home construction from start to finish
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to premium quality standards
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and site personnel
• Maintain a productive, organized, and accountable job site environment
• Drive field execution to meet project goals and timelines

Quality Assurance

• Maintain strict quality control across all construction activities
• Ensure compliance with design intent, contract documents, and local building codes
• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship throughout all phases of work

Client Relations

• Serve as the on‑site representative and primary field contact for homeowners
• Communicate progress clearly and consistently with clients
• Build trust through responsiveness, professionalism, and transparency

Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules
• Coordinate sequencing across all trades and project phases
• Adjust schedules proactively to maintain momentum and minimize delays

Problem Solving

• Identify issues early and implement practical solutions
• Mitigate risks that could impact schedule, cost, or quality
• Maintain forward progress under changing site conditions

Safety Management & Documentation

• Enforce strict job site safety standards
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Promote a safety‑first culture among all personnel on site
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project logs
• Track progress updates, field conditions, and job site activity
• Document change orders and communicate updates as needed

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Strong background in high‑end custom residential construction
• Deep understanding of luxury home construction methods, materials, and finishes
• Strong attention to detail and appreciation for design quality
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple trades
• Strong collaboration skills when working with clients, architects, and designers
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to stay calm, decisive, and effective in fast‑moving site conditions
• Familiarity with construction management software and field reporting tools

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Equivalent hands‑on experience will also be considered
