PC Construction is seeking a Safety and Health professional based in South Carolina to implement and maintain the company’s Zero Accidents—No Excuses philosophy. You will work with project leadership to create a safe environment and may oversee multiple projects in the region.

Qualifications include a four-year degree or five years of construction safety experience, CHST and OSHA certifications, First Aid/CPR, and Safety Train-the-Trainer credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or five years of construction safety experience.
• CHST Certification and OSHA 510/500 certifications.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Safety Train-the-Trainer Certification.
• Knowledge of building and/or water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
• Competent person status in excavation, confined space, and fall protection.
• Strong English language skills; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain PC Construction’s safety policies in line with OSHA and company initiatives.
• Assist project teams in preparing site-specific safety programs.
• Communicate safety initiatives to ensure high awareness.
• Plan safety into upcoming activities and ensure competent on-site personnel.
• Visit projects regularly and conduct safety meetings and subcontractor preconstruction meetings as needed.
• Investigate accidents and unsafe acts, report findings, and distribute reports to stakeholders.
• Administer first aid and coordinate with Risk Manager and RSM as required.
• Conduct drug testing and safety audits, generating reports for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies across all projects and provide on-the-spot training.
