Job summary

CCG is seeking a Senior Systems Admin / Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and secure complex infrastructure. You will manage Linux/Windows environments, optimize performance, and lead automation efforts across multiple teams.

The role requires a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph willingness, with emphasis on security guidelines, documentation, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph willingness.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into working solutions.
• Adhere to information system security guidelines.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
• Ability to write security policies, infrastructure guides and training inputs.
• Strong written and oral communication across organizational levels.
• Proficient with Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RedHat).
• Proficient with Microsoft technologies (Windows, LDAP, Server 2016/2019).
• Familiar with hypervisors (VirtualBox, VMware Workstation).
• Experience with networking routing and switching.
• Willingness to learn new technology and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Support physical and virtual infrastructure focusing on Linux and Windows administration.
• Administer complex network and server functions, patching, upgrading and configuring OS and hardware.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Document changes and develop infrastructure improvement proposals.
• Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Identify threats and remediate security issues.
• Develop automated tasks using various automation tools.
• Support new infrastructure and software planning.
