Job summary

PWTech is seeking a senior reliability engineering leader to drive the technical strategy and evolution of production-grade platforms. You will influence engineering teams, design scalable architectures, and advance observability and diagnostics across the enterprise.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, deep distributed systems expertise, and strong leadership. This role emphasizes AWS, Java/JavaScript, and modern cloud patterns in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of related experience.
• Two+ years of development experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production platforms.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture.
• Strong technical leadership and influence skills.
• Expertise in Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on AWS and modern cloud patterns.
• Observability/telemetry platform experience; Python or scripting languages.

Requirements

• Strong technical leadership and influence skills
• Deep expertise in Java or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with AWS and modern cloud architecture patterns
• Experience with observability and telemetry platformsProficiency with Python or similar scripting languages
