Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to provide production support for a range of applications including Mainframe, APIs, and microservices. You will troubleshoot outages, optimize performance, and enhance monitoring and automation to reduce toil.

The role requires collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Vendor teams to ensure reliability and seamless post-deployment validation. Office-based with hybrid opportunities in Columbus and other markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with Mainframe and batch scheduling tools.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, API Gateways and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Provide SRE production support for Mainframe apps, APIs, and microservices.
• Troubleshoot incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and self-healing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Dev, Infra, and Vendor teams on outages and improvements.
