Job summary

Alibaba Cloud in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to deploy and operate frontend (Node.js) and backend (Java) apps in the US region, ensuring high availability and supporting production reliability.

You will monitor logs and metrics, resolve incidents, and build internal tooling to improve operational efficiency while collaborating with global teams on cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SRE, application operations, DevOps or backend development.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and proficiency in Java / Bash / Python.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting production apps (Node.js frontend and/or Java backend).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain frontend (Node.js) and backend (Java) applications in the US region, including release, rollback, configuration and environment management.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents; monitor health, logs and metrics for high availability.
• Provide business technical support, troubleshoot business data on-site.
• Contribute to internal tooling, service modules and automation scripts to improve efficiency.
