The Cypress Group is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in New York City to shape and scale a rapidly growing platform. You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams to build reliable, observable, and developer-friendly systems.

You will own infrastructure strategy, improve software delivery, and elevate operational excellence. This high-impact role requires tackling complex systems, influencing architecture, and driving reliability culture.

Competenze

10+ years of experience in site reliability, infrastructure, or backend engineering.
Experience operating production systems in cloud environments and driving platform-level improvements.
Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages.
Experience defining and improving reliability practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

Mansioni

Lead the direction and evolution of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems with strong developer experience.
Define reliability standards like SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; lead incident response and postmortems.
Design resilient, scalable systems; build automation and mentor engineers across teams.
