Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, automate, and secure core platforms across multi-cloud environments. You will own deployment pipelines, mentor engineers, and drive technical direction on architectural strategy.

Responsibilities include building scalable CI/CD systems with Jenkins and Spinnaker, enhancing logging and monitoring, and ensuring data security and regulatory compliance in card payment contexts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience guiding technical direction in complex infra environments.
• Hands-on with Terraform and/or Pulumi for IaC.
• Experience configuring, scaling, and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Expert-level Linux performance troubleshooting.
• Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, Load Balancers, AMI).
• Docker containerization and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience administering large-scale logging/monitoring (Vector, Datadog, Splunk).
• Familiarity with secure, compliant infrastructure in regulated/card payment contexts.

• Design, automate, and secure core infrastructure, deployment platforms, and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Guide technical direction and innovation for architectural strategies and complex technical decisions.
• Coach and mentor engineers for technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Architect, maintain, and modernize infrastructure across cloud environments.
• Own, scale, and optimize multi-cloud deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Architect and harden card payment infrastructure with high standards of data security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize mission-critical infrastructure at scale for efficiency and stability.
• Scale and maintain data ingestion workflows and centralized logging platform.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and lead postmortem discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong aptitude for helping guide technical direction.
• Hands-on familiarity and engineering experience with modern IaC frameworks, specifically Terraform and/or Pulumi.
• Robust, hands-on familiarity with configuring, scaling, and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD systems, specifically Jenkins pipelines and Spinnaker deployments.
• Deep, expert-level proficiency in Linux operating systems with proven experience in low-level system performance troubleshooting.
• High proficiency in scripting and software automation utilizing Python and Bash.
• Strong engineering experience with AWS services (specifically EC2, Load Balancers, and AMI building).
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Docker containerization and automated configuration management tools (such as Ansible).
• Solid command over administering, configuring, and scaling large-scale enterprise logging and monitoring solutions, specifically Vector, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Strong familiarity with building and maintaining secure infrastructure, particularly within highly regulated or card payment environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, rigorous attention to detail, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional incident responses.
