Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a DevOps Architect to provide technology leadership to the DevOps Team and design resilient, scalable infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments. You will implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, create architecture diagrams, and define security best practices with Shift Left principles, mentoring engineers across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in development, operations, and full stack implementations.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role.
• Solid experience with Linux.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or Ruby for automation and integrations.
• Experience managing infrastructure and application deployments across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD patterns.
• Strong networking experience with TCP/IP, WAN, gateways, switching/routing, and cloud networking.
• Experience with virtualization/container environments (Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Sensu, Prometheus, Nagios, Elasticsearch).
• Ability to work with people across various locations.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoyment of programming and adoption of cloud technologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at hire.
