Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks an experienced Site Pollution Environmental Executive Underwriter to work autonomously on complex accounts. You will evaluate risks from Phase I/II studies, environmental reports, regulatory records, and loss histories to decide on acceptance within established authority.

You will price risk per underwriting strategy, collaborate with UW teams, and mentor junior underwriters while maintaining strong broker relationships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical ability to evaluate underwriting risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manages portfolio of brokers/agents & clients.
• Underwrites profitable business within authority, leveraging market presence.
• Mentors, coaches, and trains other underwriters and internal partners.
• Collaborates across UW, Claims, Actuarial, and Directors of Underwriting.
