Qualifications

• Proven analytical ability to evaluate underwriting risks within scope of responsibility.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses in written or oral directives for underwriting/training.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and underwriting profitable business.
• CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages portfolio of brokers/agents and clients.
• Underwrites site pollution policies within authority, evaluating risks from current and historical operations.
• Assesses coverage needs, terms, exclusions, retentions, limits, and conditions.
• Prices the risk in line with underwriting strategy and profitability objectives.
• Mentors, coaches, and trains other underwriters and internal partners.
• Collaborates across departments to drive underwriting and process excellence.
• Maintains relationships with senior brokers and key agents.
