STAUD Clothing, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, has an opening for a Senior Site Merchandiser working a hybrid in-office/remote role in Los Angeles.

Role Overview

The Senior Site Merchandiser is responsible for driving a best-in-class digital product experience through strategic site merchandising, content planning, and data-informed optimization. This role oversees the end-to-end presentation of product and content across the site, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, seasonal storytelling, and business goals. The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with a data-driven mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Site Merchandising Strategy
  • Own the site merchandising strategy for designated categories, collaborations, and key product categories. Merchandise corresponding product categories based on selling results and trends throughout the overall business.
  • Leverages web analytics to understand performance of and customer interaction with site content, such as categories, featured placements (including promotions/sales) and general online shopping experiences to identify business opportunities and risks.
  • Reviews weekly inventory and partners with planning to ensure product demand is fulfilled.
  • Create and maintain curated product collections for the site and email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the photo asset workflow—including downloading, organizing, and uploading assets into Shopify.
  • Oversee product copy to ensure accuracy, brand voice, and conversion optimization.
  • Own merchandising products across category pages, collections, custom landing pages to maximize engagement and sales.
  • Add, update, and remove site navigation elements based on seasonal needs, assortment changes, and marketing priorities.
  • Responsible for leading product QA ahead of launches, ensuring accuracy across front-end and back-end flows.
  • Serve as the owner of the site content strategy, including franchise pages, homepage updates, and key seasonal initiatives.
  • Request assets to support onsite landing page development, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for launches.
  • Direct asset placement and content layout across the site to ensure a cohesive and conversion-focused experience.
  • Submit and manage WRIKE requests for content needs tied to product launches, promotions, and brand moments.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support the content calendar through product availability checks, stock alignment, and cadence coordination.
Reporting & Insights
  • Provide weekly category and seasonal selling reporting to guide re-merchandising and inventory decisions.
  • Deliver weekly onsite search performance reports, identifying opportunities to refine search logic and customer experience.
  • Produce and analyze weekly Franchise Conversion Rate (CVR) reports to support strategic insights and optimization initiatives.
Site Optimization
  • Leverage findings to continuously improve site performance, content, navigation, and merchandising strategies.
Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Education
  • 3‑5 years of experience in merchandising, ecommerce or digital experience.
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising, content management, UX and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience merchandising large catalog and managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally in fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Experience with Shopify, working with external tools and agencies, and third party merchandising and search tools.
  • Proficient in merchandising and ecommerce analytics.
Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Ability to easily move throughout an office with ease.
