Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Site Logistics Manager to lead all on-site logistics for major energy/Data center construction projects in Houston, TX. You will develop comprehensive plans for laydown areas, access control, traffic, and material handling, coordinating with multiple contractors and the supply chain.

You will oversee warehouse operations, lifting activities, and third-party providers while ensuring safety and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience managing site logistics on large-scale construction, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects
• Proven experience developing and executing logistics plans for complex, high-activity, multi-contractor construction sites
• Strong understanding of material handling, heavy lifting operations, warehousing, and construction sequencing
• Experience coordinating closely with supply chain, procurement, construction, and field operations teams
• Demonstrated experience managing site access, traffic control, laydown areas, and delivery coordination
• Strong leadership experience supervising logistics personnel, drivers, and third-party service providers
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; OR 20+ years of field-based logistics management experience Data center or mission-critical facility construction experience
• Certification in Construction Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
• Training or certifications related to heavy lifting operations, rigging, warehouse management, or site traffic control
• Experience supporting large-scale EPC or industrial construction projects
• Familiarity with logistics software, material tracking systems, and construction planning tools

Responsibilities

• Lead all site logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials, equipment, and personnel
• Develop and execute site logistics plans including laydown areas, site access, traffic flow, and material handling
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to align deliveries with construction priorities
• Oversee logistics personnel, warehouse operations, lifting activities, and third-party providers
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards on construction sites
• Serve as central point of coordination for on-site logistics and project readiness
