Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Devens, MA seeks a Senior Manager, Site Electrical Engineer to provide engineering support for electrical infrastructure and 24/7 operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable utility systems.

Responsibilities include owning system scope, overseeing startup and commissioning, coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality and EHS, and guiding capital projects from design through handover while optimizing uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in biopharma utilities and related plant systems.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and GMP environments.
• Experience with 3D model plant design software desirable.
• Able to work in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Engineering principles for industrial building utilities troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work extended hours for startup and 24/7 support.
• Strong technical knowledge and desire to develop professionally.
• Ability to read line diagrams; automation knowledge desirable.
• Professional Engineer license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Owns system ownership for utility infrastructure and equipment.
• Develops user requirements for new or modified equipment with stakeholders.
• Manages site startup, commissioning and validation activities.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing, Quality and EHS during operations and projects.
• Leads future projects including scope, design, construction, schedule and budget.
• Assesses spare parts, creates PM plans and walk-downs; approves as-built drawings.
• Provides SME technical expertise for regulatory and site policies.
• Addresses equipment issues and coordinates with internal/external teams; prepares procurement specs.
• Supports deviations, CAPA, change management and contamination investigations.
