Qualifications

• BS in engineering (Electrical) or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in biopharma with plant utilities experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects; GMP experience.
• Experience with 3D model plant design software desirable.
• Team player and effective individual contributor.
• Knowledge of industrial building utilities troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work extended hours for startup activities and 24/7 support.
• Professional Engineer license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support and acts as system owner of utility infrastructure, systems and equipment.
• Develops user requirements for new equipment and modifications from concept through installation with stakeholders.
• Manage site startup and commissioning and coordinate engineering support of validation activities for equipment.
• Collaborates with stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS for on-the-floor troubleshooting.
• Coordinates future projects: scope, justification, design, schedule, budget; assess spare parts; handover.
• Provides SME technical expertise for regulatory, policy, and procedure compliance.
• Addresses equipment issues, procures equipment/instrumentation, reduces downtime, supports CAPA and deviations.
