Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Senior Manager, Site Electrical Engineer to provide engineering support for electrical infrastructure and support regulatory inspections. The role covers design through implementation, startup, commissioning, and 24/7 operations with close collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality and EHS.

Ideal candidates will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years in biopharma utilities, and experience with plant utilities and GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects and familiarity with large-scale manufacturing operations (GMP).
• Experience with plant utilities and auxiliary systems; familiarity with electrical distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support and acts as system owner of assigned utility infrastructure and equipment.
• Develops user requirements for new equipment and modifications from concept through installation with stakeholders.
• Manages startup, commissioning, and validation activities for equipment.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and third-party providers for on-the-floor troubleshooting and project coordination.
• Develops scope, design, schedule, and budget for projects related to utility equipment; reviews handover documentation.
