Job summary

Camp Fire Alaska seeks a Senior Site Director to lead after-school programs and summer camps at an Anchorage elementary school, overseeing planning, staffing, scheduling, and collaboration with school partners to provide a safe, engaging environment for K-6 youth.

The role requires strong leadership, 1 year of youth program planning experience, and at least 12 college credits in education or youth development. It is a full-time, year-round position with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year experience in program planning with youth.
• Minimum of twelve college credits (with at least 3 credits in early childhood education) in education, youth development or ability to obtain approved credits within 18 months.
• Experience with training facilitation and onboarding of new staff.
• Ability to transport all program materials and supplies to site; ability to visit all sites on demand.
• Twenty-one (21) years of age required.

Responsibilities

• Run program and supervise site staff while maintaining ratios.
• Ensure schedule is followed and provide coaching/feedback to site staff.
• Complete administrative tasks on time and maintain food service standards.
• Maintain positive communication with school staff and families.
• Oversee After School Program: 4 hours on-site and 4 hours in office or teleworking as needed.
