Job summary

Camp Fire Alaska is seeking an Assistant Site Director to help supervise a team and oversee after-school programs at assigned sites in Anchorage/Eagle River. The role involves coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety, and supporting youth development initiatives.

You will work 30-35 hours weekly, collaborate with the Senior Site Director on program quality, plan age-appropriate activities, and supervise site staff while maintaining a high level of program integrity and participant

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in licensed or accredited school age/camp programs preferred.
• Previous leadership and supervisory experience required.
• Ability to transport program materials to site and visit all sites as needed.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid, Food Worker Card, and Mandated Reporter training.
• Minimum of twelve college credits (with at least 3 credits in early childhood education) in education or youth development.
• Background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
