Job summary

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is seeking a Site Contracts Lead to oversee contract management for clinical trial agreements and budgets across assigned studies. You will lead end-to-end contracting activities, ensure timely execution, and collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to align on language, budgets, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in clinical site contracting or similar contract negotiation roles within CRO, pharma, or healthcare.
• Good understanding of clinical trial agreements, budget structures, and key legal and compliance considerations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple studies and priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with experience guiding or coordinating the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end site contracting for assigned studies, including templates, negotiation, and tracking.
• Escalate contract issues and propose solutions balancing sponsor, site, and internal needs.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and project teams on contract language, budgets, and risk.
• Monitor timelines and metrics; identify bottlenecks and drive actions to shorten cycle times.
• Provide guidance to Site Contracts Negotiators working on the same studies.
• Contribute to contracting playbooks, templates, and standard processes.
