Job Description

Purpose

The Senior Site Contract Manager in Purchasing & Supplier Management is responsible for ensuring the timely and appropriate execution of various site-related agreements, including Clinical Study Agreements, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, and others. Works closely with R&D teams, Legal, Finance, and external partners, drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts within legal and regulatory compliance. Acts as an expert and mentor within the organization, driving process improvements and contract management excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and execute CSAs, CDAs, budgets, and vendor agreements, acting as the point person for assigned regions.
2. Negotiate agreements and budgets with investigator sites, liaising with legal for approval of changes.
3. Contribute to updates of legal and budget templates and playbooks.
4. Track and maintain documentation of contracts and related information per company standards.
5. Coordinate priorities with stakeholders, escalate issues diplomatically, and communicate effectively.
6. Lead process improvement initiatives and represent the US Contract Management team on broader projects.
7. Demonstrate expertise in contract management, negotiation, and compliance standards.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, manage workloads, and support junior staff.
9. Partner with country operations managers to ensure effective contract processes and issue resolution.
10. This is a remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in healthcare, legal, business, or scientific fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, contracts, or budgeting, with knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and business skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills in English and possibly other languages, with conflict resolution abilities.
• Proactive team player, adaptable to change, with experience in financial and budget management considered a plus.
