Job summary

Brio Group is seeking a Senior Site Contracts & Budgets Consultant to lead sponsor-side site contract and budget activities for a large US trial involving 280–300 investigative sites. You will own escalations and negotiate terms beyond established parameters.

The role targets Manager through Associate Director level professionals with deep knowledge of US CTAs and site budgets, capable of resolving budget requests, redlines, and cross-functional coordination across CROs, Operations, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7–8+ years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Significant hands-on experience with U.S. site CTAs and investigator budgets.
• Strong understanding of site-budget negotiation and cost benchmarking.
• Experience independently reviewing contract and budget exceptions.
• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent site negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve investigator-site budget escalations and exceptions.
• Evaluate procedure costs, institutional fees, payment terms, and other site-budget requests.
• Apply FMV data, budget benchmarks, and negotiation parameters to determine commercially reasonable outcomes.
• Review CTA redlines and utilize approved fallback language where appropriate.
• Distinguish business/operational issues from matters requiring Legal review.
• Partner closely with the CRO, Clinical Operations, Legal, and study leadership.
• Track negotiations, escalations, approvals, and outstanding actions through execution.
• Proactively identify contracting bottlenecks and risks to site activation.
• Independently manage a significant portfolio of sites in a fast-paced study-start-up environment.

Senior Site Contracts & Budgets Consultant

This is a highly visible, sponsor-side opportunity supporting a study expected to include approximately 280–300 U.S. investigative sites. We are targeting experienced professionals operating at approximately the Manager through Associate Director level who bring deep, hands‑on expertise with U.S. clinical trial agreements (CTAs) and investigator-site budgets.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a key sponsor-side point of contact for site contract and budget activity. The CRO will manage frontline negotiations with investigative sites, while you will take ownership of escalations, exceptions, and issues that fall outside established negotiation parameters.

• Review and resolve investigator-site budget escalations and exceptions

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 7–8+ years of relevant clinical research experience
• Significant hands‑on experience with U.S. site CTAs and investigator budgets
• Strong understanding of site‑budget negotiation and cost benchmarking
• Experience independently reviewing contract and budget exceptions
• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent site negotiations
• Sponsor‑side experience and/or experience supporting sponsors within a CRO environment strongly preferred
• Experience with GrantPlan, FMV tools, or comparable budget‑benchmarking resources is a plus
• Strong judgment, organization, follow‑through, and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to work onsite in Conshohocken, PA approximately three days per week
