Job summary

Hartland is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join its design team in New Jersey. You will lead land development projects from concept through completion, coordinating permitting, design, and client management while guiding staff and coordinating with leadership.

A PE license and 10+ years of site/civil experience are required, with proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Hartland offers a competitive salary in the $140k–$180k range plus comprehensive benefits and full-time employment

Qualifications

• U.S. accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license is required.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience in land development.
• Experience with site layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure.
• Strong writing and proposal development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and permitting for residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth plans and staff utilization.
• Direct site/civil efforts across layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion control.
• Lead stormwater design and hydrologic analysis.
• Apply cross-disciplinary knowledge across geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
