Hale's Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead single-ply crews across Northern Arizona, focusing on TPO and related low-slope systems for commercial and multi-family buildings. You will oversee tear-offs, new construction, repairs, and quality control, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specs and safety standards while keeping projects on schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in commercial single-ply roofing.
Experience leading foremen, supers, or crews preferred.
Proven hot-air welding ability and strong TPO detailing knowledge.
Knowledge of insulation layout, fastening patterns, and wind uplift requirements.
Manufacturer installer certification preferred (Carlisle, GAF, Firestone, Versico).
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
Experience managing crews and maintaining production goals.
Ability to read scopes of work and project documentation.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage single-ply crews on commercial, multi-family, and low-slope projects.
Oversee installation of mechanically attached and fully adhered TPO systems and related single-ply systems (PVC).
Manage tear-offs of existing roofs and inspect deck before dry-in.
Lay out insulation, tapered systems, and cover board per pattern and density.
Set up and calibrate hot-air welders; test welds and fix defects.
Perform detail work at curbs, pipe boots, drains, parapets, joints, and pads.
Ensure roofs are water-tight at end of each shift; coordinate tie-ins and night seals.
Coordinate crane and material staging on the roof; respect load limits.
Meet warranty requirements and support inspections.
Maintain safety on low-slope roofs; manage tenant coordination in occupied buildings.
Train installers on welding, detailing, safety, and quality expectations.
Inspect work to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
Review scopes of work, work orders, and installation instructions.
Manage labor, materials, equipment, and site needs.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites; protect customer property.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and project contacts.
Submit production updates, photos, reports, and time records.
Identify and resolve field issues promptly; keep projects on schedule.
