Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Sr. PCBA Aerospace Manufacturing Test Engineer to deploy and qualify test systems at contract manufacturers for satellite PCBAs. You will document procedures, train CM personnel, and provide onsite support, debugging complex PCBAs and driving test improvements.

You will work with R&D and Test Development teams to enhance test fixtures, software, and coverage while leading small teams on short-term and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with Linux/RHEL or programming/scripting languages
• 8+ years deploying, using and training on complex test systems including RF functional tests and ICT/bed-of-nails fixtures
• 8+ years integrating software and hardware systems
• 8+ years’ experience using standard lab test equipment to debug PCBAs
• Ability to write detailed test station operating procedures
• Ability to deploy capacity plans for multiple testers at multiple CM sites

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and optimize test setup at Contract Manufacturing sites
• Perform PCBA debug and root-cause failure analysis and train technicians
• Collaborate with R&D and Test Development to improve test systems and throughput
• Analyze data to identify failure trends and recommend improvements
• Develop procedures for test operators and train on processes
• Lead small teams to achieve short-term objectives and strategic initiatives
