Job summary

Intel Corporation’s Power and Thermal Validation team seeks an experienced engineer to define and execute silicon power and thermal validation across Intel products. You will analyze workloads, characterize across voltage and temperature, and validate thermal solutions to drive performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and platform teams to develop validation methodologies, tools, and infrastructure for next-generation CPUs, SoCs, and servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of silicon power and thermal validation with a Bachelor's; 4+ with Master's; 2+ with PhD.
• 3+ years of post-silicon validation and debug of CPU, SoC, or server-class products.
• 3+ years of thermal characterization and workload-based analysis.
• Experience developing or maintaining validation tools, automation, or infrastructure.
• Experience analyzing thermal telemetry and sensor data to debug silicon or platform issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute power and thermal validation plans.
• Perform silicon characterization across voltage, process, and temperature corners.
• Drive power and thermal optimization through workload analysis.
• Validate thermal solutions and thermal management features.
• Conduct root cause analysis and design experiments for thermal issues.
• Develop validation methodologies and infrastructure, including: Performance monitors, Behavioral checkers, Coverage and test frameworks.
• Execute failure analysis and troubleshoot silicon issues.
• Partner with architecture, design, verification, and platform teams to improve product quality and meet product specifications.
