Job summary

Intel is seeking a SoC Power Thermal Performance Validation and Optimization Engineer to advance validation across power, thermal, and performance at the SoC level. You will collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to validate optimizations and drive KPI targets.

The role requires hands-on SoC debugging, data-logger setup, and building validation infrastructure. This Experienced Hire position is onsite at multiple US locations, including Texas and California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years experience in SoC power and performance validation.
• Experience in Pre-Si simulation and emulation.
• Strong debugging and RTL/FPGA prototyping knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SoC-level power, thermal, and performance validation plans across Intel products.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to meet targets.
• Establish methodologies for validating hardware/software optimizations and KPI alignment.
• Perform SoC-level debugging to address power, thermal, and performance failures.
• Configure data loggers and maintain validation infrastructure and reports.
