FormFactor, Inc. seeks a Principal Applications Engineer (SiPh) to lead silicon photonics test development, validate new product solutions, and translate customer needs into technical requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Marketing, Manufacturing and Field Applications to craft advanced measurement methods for state-of-the-art semiconductor devices. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in SiPh technologies and on-wafer testing.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Photonics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s; or a PhD without experience.
• Experience with semiconductor wafer probing systems and automated test environments.
• Knowledge of Silicon Photonics devices and technologies such as waveguides, transceivers, photodiodes, VCSELs, beam optics, and integrated photonic circuits.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for on-wafer measurements and Silicon Photonics (SiPh) test applications, providing technical leadership across the organization.
• Represent the voice of the customer, translating requirements into product requirements and development priorities.
• Lead technical definition, validation, and demonstration planning for new products throughout the product life cycle.
